Upon the invitation of President Elias Warrak, Dr. Kennard Brown, Executive Vice Chancellor of the University of Tennessee, accompanied by Dr. Harry Kochat, Director of Business Development, and Mr. Bernard Tannoury, Chairman and CEO of Benta Pharmaceutical Industry, visited the University of Balamand on Tuesday April 2nd, 2019.

The discussion centered on the potential cooperation between the University of Tennessee and the University of Balamand, especially in the field of Medicine and Medical Sciences, to promote the development of exchange programs, joint research and educational activities of mutual interest to both Universities.

A luncheon at the Presidential House was held in Dr. Brown’s honor.
