Workshop on Multiple Sclerosis for Nurses from Iraq

The Nursing Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences-UOB organized a two day workshop on “Nursing Care of Patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)”. The workshop targeted 28 nurses from Iraq who were selected by the Iraq Ministry of Health.
The workshop was funded by Pharmatec S.A.L. with the aim of upgrading competencies in managing patients with MS. It also aimed at promoting nurses’ capacities to provide quality care and support to the patient and his/her family from early detection of the disease until end of life-palliative care.
