President Elias Warrak signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the President of Europtima Mr. Gaby Tayoun. EUROPTIMA, a leading international group of construction and real estate project management, has an established track record of over 10 million m2 of delivered buildings in diverse sectors of the industry. The MOU entails the exchange of expertise in the fields of Construction, Technology & Management Solutions, Engineering & Contracting, Real Estate, Engineering Management, Consultancy, GIS, Quantity Surveying, Economics, Talents & Cultures, and Corporate Social Responsibility. It also promotes the placement of students and alumni in training sessions, internships, recruitment, workshops, senior projects and seminars.

Europtima have already welcomed five UOB students on board for the summer 2020 online internships, as a result of the fruitful collaboration with the Career Services Center at UOB.

President Warrak and Dr. Tayoun expressed their confidence that this MOU will be of mutual benefit to UOB, Europtima and their respective constituents, and will highlight their shared belief in the vital role of educated youth in building the nation.
