​The School of Tourism and Hotel Management (THM) at the University of Balamand welcomed Mr. Ramzi Fikani, an expert in luxury brand management and hospitality, for an insightful discussion on the true nature of luxury hospitality on the 22th of October 2024.  

Mr. Fikani emphasized that luxury hospitality extends beyond high-end brands and expensive amenities. It encompasses a way of interacting with guests, addressing challenges, and exceeding expectations. According to him, luxury is about the intangible elements of service and experience, rather than merely the physical items found in hotels, restaurants, and resorts.

With over a decade of experience in strategic initiatives and operational excellence, Mr. Fikani has worked with renowned companies such as Amber Consulting, Marriott International, Leylaty Group, Al Faisaliah Hotel & Suites, Constellation Hospitality Group and the Oetker Collection. He highlighted the importance of quiet luxury, a trend among affluent individuals and celebrities, and the strong connection between luxury and lifestyle.

During his presentation, he also shared valuable tips on enhancing guest experiences by understanding and catering to their preferences, reinforcing the idea that exceptional service is the cornerstone of luxury hospitality.
