President Elias Warrak received Russian Ambassador Mr. Alexander Zasypkin in his office at UOB on Saturday May 4th, 2019.  His Excellency Ambassador Zasypkin congratulated Dr. Warrak on his appointment as President of the University, emphasizing the vital role of the University of Balamand in contributing to building Lebanon and the region. In his turn, President Warrak highlighted the role of Russia, praising its impressive history, and stressing the need to strengthen relations between UOB and the Russian Embassy, especially in terms of scientific research and cultural exchange.
