About the Faculty

The Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) offers its entire Program in French in Sin el-Fil (Beirut), where it was first established. French has been the language of instruction at ALBA since its foundation, long before it joined the University of Balamand in 1988. Since October 2000, however, ALBA has offered its Programs on the Main University Campus at Balamand (al-Kurah) in English. It offers degrees in Architecture, Decorative Arts, Plastic Arts, Urban and Regional Planning, Audiovisual Directing and Fashion Design.
