Athletics Wellness & Recreation

The Sports program is based on the philosophy of providing a wide range of sports activities and programs that are aligned with the mission of the University and is best characterized by the goal of accessibility. The athletics activities are accessible to students of all skills, abilities, and interests, and our purpose is to provide a sound, competitive intercollegiate athletics program that represents the University in an impeccable manner and provides student-athletes the opportunity to develop physically, mentally, ethically, and socially. In providing this learning environment, the program places emphasis on the academic success of Student Athletes, the fair and equitable treatment of women and men, the principles of fair play, amateur and semi-professional athletics competition, and the health and welfare of Student Athletes.

The Office of Athletics, Wellness and Recreation at the University of Balamand encourages all students regardless of age, sex and physical ability to make use of the variety of sports and recreational activities that are offered to them during their academic career at the university and beyond.
