The Department of Economics offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) that provides students with a robust and extensive background in Economics through its wide-ranging and interdisciplinary courses. The areas of study in the three-year undergraduate degree range from the role of the government and the effects of public policies to international trade, financial systems, labor market analysis, development economics and trade-offs resulting from the problem of scarcity.

Program Features

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) The Department of Economics offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) that provides students with a robust and extensive background in Economics through its wide-ranging and interdisciplinary courses. The areas of study in the three-year undergraduate degree range from the role of the government and the effects of public policies to international trade, financial systems, labor market analysis, development economics and trade-offs resulting from the problem of scarcity.

Master in Financial Economics (MFE) The principal objective of the program is to provide students with a broad understanding of Financial Theory and the Economics framework upon which that theory is based. The MFE program aims at enabling students to focus on different aspects of Economics and Finance disciplines in which they have prior knowledge or experience, to learn how to conduct relevant research in the disciplines of Economics and Finance, and to undertake a research project on a topic within the area of Financial Economics. The program prepares students for entry to the Economic or Finance practices or professions and equips them to enter doctoral studies or to pursue relevant professional certifications.


After Graduation
An MBA in Air Transport Management will provide you with the knowledge and industry-grounding required to perform high-level duties within the fast-paced and time-critical world of airport operations, including employment opportunities such as: Flight Operations Manager, Chief Pilot, Maintenance Manager, Engineering and Planning Manager, Safety Manager, Security Manager, Quality Manager, Ground Handling Manager, Air Navigation Service Provider Manager, Airport Manager, Airline Station Managers, General Manager.
