First Aid

The Faculty of Business and Management and the Business Connections Club at the University of Balamand hosted a successful first aid session on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024. This informative session, presented by the Lebanese Red Cross, provided valuable training to students on how to respond to emergencies and administer basic first aid.

The session covered essential first aid skills such as:
  • - CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
  • - The Heimlich maneuver
  • - Wound care
  • - How to control bleeding
  • - What to do in case of choking or other emergencies

Knowing basic first aid skills can be life-saving. By attending this seminar, students gained the knowledge and confidence to intervene and potentially save a life in an emergency situation.
