Zeenni Center for Engineering Technology and Industrial Research
The Zeenni Center for Engineering Technology and Industrial Research (ZTCEIR) at the University of Balamand aims to serve as the training ground for engineers and technologists from the University of Balamand and other academic institutions, in addition to technical personnel from the Lebanese industry. ZCETIR’s mission can be summarized in three specific points:
- - The Center aims to provide highest quality training on the latest technologies in the area of industrial automation processes to the students at the University of Balamand and other academic institutions in addition to technical personnel from the industry.
- - Through the acquisition of advanced manufacturing skills, the center aims to provide the industry with competent personnel to promote efficiency and productivity from the supplier to the end user
- - The Center promotes mutual research collaborations and partnerships with industry through designing and implementing of new project ideas.
As a result of completing the training modules, trainees receive internationally-recognized FESTO certification in the specified area of training.
