CARLA HAMDAN
Structural Engineer, LASCO-AE
When I reflect on my six years at the University of Balamand, I conclude that the dedicated faculty had not only equipped me with the required knowledge and enhanced my technical skills, but also challenged me to think critically and creatively and build the confidence I need in my future endeavors.
I am currently working at LASCO, an engineering and contracting company originally located in Abu Dhabi with more than 40 years of experience, along with four other Balamand colleagues. What qualifies us as Balamand graduates at the office is our deep software development knowledge, especially in Revit, as we recognized the high market demand for engineers skilled in Revit. This granted us both confidence among other fresh graduates and fast career growth.
Thank you, Balamand, for well preparing us for the workplace, as I’d like to emphasize the significance of Revit course that is provided by the faculty in helping students find better job opportunities after graduation.
