The University of Balamand celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Souk El Gharb campus on June 6, 2024, at the university campus in Souk El Gharb. The celebration was attended by His Beatitude JOHN X Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Lebanese Duruz Spiritual Leader Cheikh Sami Abu Al-Mona, Former Minister and MP H.E. Mr. Walid Joumblat, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament H.E. Elias Bou Saab, Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Saadeh Al-Shami, President of the University of Balamand Dr. Elias Warrak, Director of Souk El Ghareb Campus Dr. Habbouba Aoun. The event was also attended by several political, religious, social, educational, security, military, and media figures, as well as deans and directors of the University of Balamand.

It is worth noting that the substantial support from donors significantly contributes to the success and development of the Souk El Gharb campus. Their contributions have helped provide modern and advanced technologies, in addition to offering numerous scholarships that enable students to continue their academic journey.
