The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Balamand signed an exclusive partnership with G8T Solutions S.A.R.L. The partnership aims to provide a full suite of technological services for municipalities through municipal management systems fully integrated with GIS. This work comes in response to the rising need for digital transformation of municipal work. The GIS Center and G8T solutions are currently working together on various projects such as Btouratij Municipality, the Union of Municipalities of Dreib el Awsat in Akkar, and the Union of Municipalities of Jird el Kaytee.

G8T Solutions S.A.R.L is a Lebanese software engineering company with offices in Lebanon, Nigeria and Sweden. Currently, one of the leading firms in digital transformation, G8T Solutions integrates digital technology into the different departments of local administrations by providing the right tools to modernize work instruments, raise the control level and facilitate the delivery and completion of procedures. G8T Solutions was founded and is currently headed by its CEO, UOB Alumnus, Mr. Phillippe Fares.
