On Thursday, October 20, the University of Balamand (UOB) welcomed French-Lebanese entrepreneur and leader in eHealth, Dr. Adnan El Bakri, for a talk on Medical Collaboration with Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Bakri is a medical doctor, ex-surgeon, scientist, researcher in artificial intelligence, and digital health expert. He is also known as the Founder and CEO of ReLyfe Group and several other enterprises.

In his lecture to students, Dr. El Bakri stressed the importance of taking courageous decisions in order to catapult one’s career to success: “I am extremely proud to be sharing my expertise in eHealth and medical data analysis today. I am here to motivate you to dream and have the courage to realize those dreams. Have faith in your abilities and do not be afraid of change and innovation.” While acknowledging the country’s challenging political and economic climate, Dr. El Bakri continues: “The way to change Lebanon and the world lies in creating value by establishing cutting-edge enterprises and innovative projects, which we are counting on you to build. For this reason, I encourage you to stay persistent and passionate about your dreams because you are the only forces that can change the leaden future.”
