Tree Planting Initiative at UOB

December 17, 2022: His Beatitude, Patriarch John X and President of the University of Balamand, Dr. Elias Warrak, launched the 1,000 pine trees planting project at the University of Balamand’s main campus - Koura, as part of the UOB Christmas Village.

Mr. Walid Baraka offered the pine trees to the University of Balamand in a generous initiative, which the university briskly welcomed, as the project falls entirely in line with its environmental responsibility towards society and environmental policies that support green projects, climate change movements, and sustainable environmental development. ​
