Political Science and International Affairs student at the University of Balamand (UOB) Jad Hajazi, participated in the Eleventh Course in International Humanitarian Law, organized by the Directorate of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights in the Lebanese Army in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross, and dedicated to university students.

The course was held from September 6th to September 13th 2023, at the Fouad Chehab Academy for Command and General Staff in Baabda and concluded with a graduation ceremony attended by Brigadier General Walid Abdel Ghani representing the Commander of the Lebanese Army, numerous military leaders and officials, in addition to Dr. Hanna Al Nakat, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at UOB, and a great presence of parents.

The aim of this course is to simplify and explain international humanitarian law, addressing its origin and shedding light on the process of its implementation. This course is an excellent training opportunity for students interested in the legal field, as the Directorate of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights in the army is committed to providing it to students with the simplest and most effective methods.
