Dr. Maged Badawi El Najjar, a Full Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Balamand, has been officially certified as a Power Quality Professional by the prestigious Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Having met the rigorous standards for certification, Dr. Najjar displayed an exceptional level of competence and ethical fitness. This well-deserved recognition is valid from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2026, marking a significant milestone in the realm of power quality expertise. It is noteworthy that Dr. Najjar holds the exclusive distinction of being the only AEE Certified Power Quality Professional in Lebanon until that period.
Significantly, this accomplishment follows the establishment of the first-ever Association of Energy Engineers’ student Chapter in Lebanon at the University of Balamand in December 2017, solidifying Dr. Najjar's commitment to advancing energy expertise and promoting excellence in the region.
