Dr. Nadine Abbas, a philosophy professor at Saint Joseph University of Beirut, was welcomed by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Balamand (UOB) on Monday, April 22, 2024. She engaged in a textual dialogue session with students as part of the (Arab 201) course supervised by Dr. Dorine Nasr. The session focused on "The Authority of the Body," which is also the title of one of Dr. Nadine Abbas's articles.

Present at the discussion were Professor Hanna Nakkat, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Maria Nasr, chairperson of the Translation and Languages Department, UOB students who excelled in interpreting excerpts from the article, embodying both philosophical and physical perspectives, in addition to students from Khalil Salem Official Secondary School who enriched the event with their active participation and questions.
