UGA and UOB Sign MoU to Enhance Academic Cooperation

The Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) and the University of Balamand (UOB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster academic, scientific, and cultural collaboration. Represented by Mr. Yassine Lakhnech, President of UGA, and Dr. Elias Warrak, President of UOB, the agreement underscores both institutions' commitment to promoting faculty and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, and academic events.

The MoU, effective for five years, outlines the mutual objectives of the universities, including the organization of conferences, joint publications, and the expansion of their collaborative efforts. The partnership emphasizes equality and reciprocity, with both parties respecting their respective capacities.

This agreement aligns with UGA's adherence to European Union values and its recognition under the Initiative of Excellence label. The MoU is part of UGA's broader strategy to create synergies between education, research, and international cooperation.

Both institutions have expressed enthusiasm for the opportunities this partnership will bring, aiming to contribute positively to the global academic community.
