In alignment with the University of Balamand’s Clubs and Societies’ dedication to community engagement and social responsibility, the UOB Business Connections Club (BCC) organized a visit to Dar Al Zahraa Orphanage, aiming to bring joy to the children.

During the visit, club members spent quality time with the children, distributing gifts and a selection of children's books while organizing a variety of interactive and entertainment activities.

Reflecting on the experience the club described their visit as deeply meaningful, emphasizing the mutual impact it had on both the children and the club members. The initiative fostered a warm and uplifting atmosphere and ignited a sense of belonging amongst the volunteers, reinforcing the club’s drive to making a positive difference beyond the academic university setting.

In response to this initiative, Mr. Michael Salem, Director of Student Affairs stated: “The UOB Business Connections Club has mirrored the values shared within the UOB community through its commitment to community outreach. Year after year, the club has demonstrated its dedication to enriching campus life for peers, staff, and faculty members, as well as extending its impact beyond the university walls”.
