The Department of Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Balamand (UOB) organized an informative workshop on July 10, 2024, at the Koura Campus, in collaboration with Transparency International Lebanon and the Lebanese National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), focusing on the fight against corruption and its legal framework.

Students majoring in political science and international affairs from UOB, along with attendees from other universities in North Lebanon, were presented with valuable insights into the access to information law, the whistleblower protection law, and the roles of NACC and Transparency International Lebanon in fighting corruption.

This workshop is part of a nationwide effort to raise student awareness about corruption and the measures to combat it. It will be followed by a four-day summer school providing in-depth anti-corruption training for selected students from across Lebanon.
